First Week Worries

So this is it. A blog. Why do these kinds of technology things sound so difficult? Thanks to Deborah and Google I am entering the 21st century. Much appreciated. I needed the push. My worries about setting up were all for naught. Therefore, if I can do it, I imagine my students can. Assuming that we can get them into the lab or that they can find the money to log on somewhere. This is one of the worries I have about using technology in teaching - will we all be able to afford it? Some of my students are ahead of me, I'm sure of that. But others are just scraping up enough money to get the bus to the university and buy their cup of coffee so who am I kidding? If the university doesn't provide the opportunity for them to learn, it won't happen easily for the majority.
